Hey Guys !!!
Welcome Back to My Second **New Blog Post **of the Week, This is Charlie keeping you posted of our Europe Trip. So after Dublin we decided go to London, one of my favorite cities in the world. This time we got the chance to stay with the sister of Intercontinental Dublin, of course I’m talking about the most beautiful hotel in London, Intercontinental London Park Lane. Guys we were in SHOCK on how beautiful this hotel is. It’s amazing how we got the chance to stay with Intercontinental in **Dublin and London **and had an unforgettable experience on both hotels.
But let me tell you more about our experience in London. First of all this hotel has an excellent location. It is steps away from the Hyde Park Corner tube station!!From Heathrow Airport, simply take the Picadilly line, get off, and take a stairway just outside the Hyde Park Corner station, which takes you under the road. When you emerge from the stairwell, there is your hotel. It is within walking distance of Buckingham Palace, Harrod's department store, Victoria and Albert Museum, the Natural History Museum, and many other sites. It is a short tube or bus ride to Tower of London, Tower Bridge, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, the Thames, and so much more!
Second of all since the moment we arrived we had a warm welcoming, the professional staff was amazing and helpful. It truly felt like a 5 Star Hotel. From the moment they enter those door men, bell boys, and concierge in general are phenomenal with their welcoming attitude, elegant wardrobe, and professional service. The concierge at Intercontinental can secure tickets of all sorts for you, and is a great source of information. Check in was absolutely amazing and professional, giving me a tour of the hotel.
Wen we got to our room, I jumped to the bed and felt asleep. Of course not ! But I did jumped to the bed and I didn't wanted to get up. It was delicious !! The classic room size was perfect for two people. (something not always guaranteed in London), with an extremely comfortable king bed and big TV dominating the room. There is a small desk, automatic minibar. There’s a Bose sound system were I played music every morning. Bathroom is small, but perfectly nice with Agraria-branded amenities littered around it. The bath is lovely and seeing the mirror opposite it not steam up after a hot bath was one of life’s mini-fistpump moments. The room is perfectly quiet with a shut window and the ventilation is outstanding. In fact, it’s fair to say that the combination of a quiet and well-ventilated room with a super-comfortable bed and pillows made sure that we had once of the best night’s sleep in recent memory.
What also contributed to the good night’s sleep was the turndown service, after which we found a fresh plate of fruit and water to the room, something that was preceded by a plate of cheese, crackers and a bottle of wine earlier on. Such gestures are what make this a 5-star hotel, certainly in terms of service.
The staff were excellent. From check-in, to room service, cleaning, delivering goodies, leaving a card, recognising us on the door, calling up and offering late(r) checkout if needed. They all have our thanks for making this a good stay.
We had access to the club floor on 7th, a really nice and perfect experience to be there, since the moment you enter the club you get treated really well, they got different times were you can get free champagne, food, and more. They also serve breakfast every morning. Everything was delicious and unforgettable.
Staff and service are very good and helpful and the concierge can manage all kinds of last minute bookings at restaurants and shows.
One thing to try and experience is the afternoon tea which is a celebration on its own and i recommend trying their no. 1 parklane tea.
We’d love to stay again and maybe next time see what Club Intercontinental has to offer, as well as the rooms with city views!
Thank You Intercontinental London For having us !!
