Hey Guys!

This is Charlie writing this New Blog post. I’m really excited to be back home and write about my Summer Experience in Europe. One of my first destinations was Dublin, Ireland and let me tell you that it stole my heart in every single way. We had the chance to stay in this amazing and beautiful hotel Intercontinental Dublin. Since the moment my trip started I got a message from Chloe on Instagram Wishing me a Happy Birthday. Chloe is the best, if you ever need help on a booking reservation she will help you in her possibilities. For all of you who don't know my birthday was on June 26th. After arriving in the hotel we got the chance to experience a lovely welcoming into the Hotel. Every single person from the staff was absolutely amazing, from the bell boy to the concierge, everyone was so helpful with an amazing energy.

After our check in they had taken note of the special occasion and gave their best wishes as well as giving us a complimentary upgrade which was unexpected and really appreciated. We walked through the hallways of the hotel everything looked so beautiful, and perfect. Everything is a 5 Star Hotel. Inside, we were met by the most glorious huge bouquets of flowers in the foyer. It looks better than ever. It's little touches like these that really make the experience so special and that kind of service is rare.

From the moment we entered to our suite, I was in love, there was a beautiful welcoming on the living room with my name wishing me a happy birthday and bottles of whiskey, in the bed they had me a gift bag with a beautiful Avoca blanket. The suite itself was just beautiful, spacious, warm, welcoming and luxuriously decorated. It's definitely an upgrade. Everything looked perfect and the whiskey and chocolates we had arranged had been laid out just before we arrived. The bed was huge, incredibly comfy and had the right mix of pillows to suit all needs. The bathrooms were perfectly laid out and had so much space - the bath and shower were fab. Love also the L'Occitane toiletries, bergamot is a favourite of mine.

The Breakfast was a wonderfully relaxing affair, again the staff and welcome were super and the dining room was beautiful and bright. We just went for the standard buffet and it was delicious.

The location is perfect ! You are only about a 9 minute cab ride from the centre of the city, with the Temple Bar being only 15 minutes away. The location of this hotel is perfect, set in the Ballsbridge area.

On our last day in this beautiful Hotel we decided to visit The Spa and have a great relaxing moment before our departure to London. The pool and jacuzzi area are in a great size for a great time of relaxing. You guys get to have your own locker, shower, towels, and more. Definitely one of our favorite spots in the hotel.

This are the next 3 Top Recommendations you get to do at the Hotel

1. Sunday brunch
New to the menu at the Seasons restaurant is Sunday brunch, offering three courses plus tea or coffee for €45pp. Wise diners will go for the modest 6oz steak, leaving plenty of room for the huge array of sweets at the dessert buffet. These butterfly cupcakes were almost too good to eat. Almost.

2. Afternoon Tea
A truly decadent experience and longstanding tradition at the InterContinental Hotel. Afternoon Tea is an occasion of unparalleled elegance. Served in the Lobby Lounge, or if you prefer during Summer, al fresco in the Courtyard Garden, relax and enjoy the opulent setting with elegant, welcoming service, transforming tea into an indulgent treat.

Its daily from 2.00pm to 5.00pm, from €28 per person and add a glass of Taittinger Brut NV for €17.50 or €8.50 with a glass of Prosecco Valdo Oro DOCG.

3. Treat yourself
Book in for a Personalised E'Spa Facial (55 minutes, €100) - which features a somewhat nerve-wracking UV test to highlight any damage or problem areas on your face - then wash away any last traces of stress in the thermal suite. This is not a spacious destination spa, but peace can come in small packages.

All in all, we had such an amazing time and were spoiled rotten by the surroundings and great staff.

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay we will definitely be back and for a longer visit next time!

Thank You So much Chloe for your time and professionalism, you are definitely the best, wish you all the best !

Best,
Charlie
